Customer Care Associate (Remote and Onsite)

LOCATION:

Onsite positions are located at our corporate offices in Bradenton, FL
Remotely, must be located in either AL, AR, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MS, NC, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, or WV

Full-time & Part-time; 25 hours per week

On-site and remote positions available.

Shift Time

Flexible schedule required during operating hours.

Operating hours: Monday - Saturday, 9am - 6pm & Sunday, 10am-6pm. Extended support hours possible during holiday season.

FUNCTION:

Respond to all inbound customer communications using phone, mail, email or live chat according to Bealls standards. Make outbound customer communications as necessary. Generate sales, resolve customer verbal and written inquiries by supporting Bealls Stores, Bealls Outlet, Burkes Outlet, and Home Centric stores as well as support BeallsFlorida.com, BurkesOutlet.com and E-Commerce marketplace fulfillment efforts.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Full-time, Part-time, and Flexible shifts (day and weekend hours) are available

INTERACTION:

  • Under primary leadership of Customer Care Manager for Bealls Stores, Bealls Outlet, Burkes Outlet and Home Centric. Direct report to Sr. Supervisor of Day
  • Shift and Nights/Weekends; indirectly report to Shift Supervisors or Manager on Duty (MOD) as assigned.
  • Extensive interaction with Bealls Florida, Bealls Outlet, Burkes Outlet and Home Centric customers.
  • Interaction with buying staff, credit, store operations personnel, E-Commerce staff, advertising staff, finance and other customer care staff.
     

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skill.
  • Prior Call Center or Retail experience preferred in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
  • Excellent keyboarding and computer skills using multiple software applications simultaneously.
  • Must pass US background check and drug screening prior to start date.
  • Note: Remote applicants must have a quiet workspace, wired internet connection, 22" monitor, experience working independently, and ability to identify and troubleshoot minor PC issues with additional technical support. 
     

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inbound Call Center support for Bealls, Bealls Outlet, Burkes Outlet, Home Centric and Rugges Earth Outfitters stores.
  • Support 85-100 inbound guest inquiries daily in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Process new orders by phone and provide post-purchase support for existing orders.
  • Prepare written communications for actionable inquiries such as requests for adjustments, returns, labels and other related post-purchase requests.
  • Assist guests with reward’s program administration and support.
  • Troubleshoot website checkout issues and account user issues based on established policies and procedures.
  • Exceed guest expectations, build loyalty, and long-term relationships for Bealls Family of Stores in-store and online guests
