CRISP & GREEN™ is seeking a talented Kitchen Manager to add to our team!

Position Overview: 

As a Kitchen Manager, you will be in charge of training and development of our BOH teams while maintaining our crisp standards with regards to food safety and quality. You will be a mentor, coach, and leader that our BOH teams will want to emulate. We see the Kitchen Manager as an absolutely vital role in our continued success and growth as a company


Kitchen Manager Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. In charge of day to day operations in the back of house
  2. Recruiting and hiring for current and future staffing needs
  3. Train existing crew and new hires to become confident in their ability to deliver the crisp standard
  4. Identify and develop future leaders
  5. Challenge your team to become better every day
  6. Create and maintain a culture where teammates have the opportunity to learn and grow
  7. Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and well stocked
  8. Equipment is properly maintained and in good condition
  9. Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping to order
  10. Monitor COGS, food waste, inventory levels, and resolving any food quality or safety issue
  11. Clear understanding of operating procedures, recipes, and restaurant handbook
  12. Effectively communicate changes to restaurant team including changes to menu, policies, and team member benefits
  13. Live and represent the Crisp & Green brand day in and out


Job Requirements:

Minimum

  1. Previous management/supervisory experience
  2. 2-3+ years kitchen experience
  3. Advanced knife skills
  4. Passion for living a healthy life
  5. Able to lift 50lbs
  6. Able to stand for long periods of time and work in fast-pace environment
  7. Full-time open availability with a flexible schedule
  8. 45 hour work week

Preferred

  1. Culinary degree
