Quality Assurance Registered Nurse


We are currently accepting applications for a Quality Assurance Registered Nurse within our long-term care and rehab facility specializing in geriatrics. This position requires dedication to a job well done, dependability, flexibility, accountability, and a positive attitude is a must. Must enjoy working with our residents and families.

Qualifications:

  1. An active, Registered Nurse.
  2. Experience with the elderly population is preferred but not a requirement.
  3. A drug screen and background check will be required.
  4. Great attendance is required.
  5. Must have the resident’s best interest in mind at all times and abide by the federal and state regulations.
  6. Must have several years of Nursing experience.
  7. This position will require someone who will be flexible with shifts and/or hours.
  8. Will need to work a rotating weekend schedule and take call.
  9. Will work as a RN supervisor at times.
  10. Must have the resident’s best interest in mind at all times. 
  11. Abide by the federal and state regulations. 

Essential Job Functions:

  1. This nurse will keep track of all Quality Assurance projects to improve and maintain the highest level of quality care, Performance Improvement Projects, serve or assist staff with subcommittee project. 
  2. Assist the DON with Plans of Corrections for quality improvement projects. 
  3. Work closely with Infection Control and Staff Development. 
  4. To act as a liaison and representative of the residents and staff with quality care in the facility. 
  5. Be a part of the Quality Assurance team.
