The Meadows of Atmore in Atmore, AL, is accepting applications for a Housekeeper / Cook within our Assisted Living Home. This position requires dedication to a job well done. Dependability, flexibility, accountability, and a positive attitude are a must. Must enjoy working with our residents and families.

This position would be as a Cook 3 days per week, and then possibly cleaning 1-2 days per week.

1. The cook must be able to prepare food in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards and ensure that quality food service is always provided.
2. Reliable transportation required

Essential Job Functions

1. Prepare food by current federal, state, and local standards
2. Follow the facility's policies and procedures for food service
3. Prepare and serve food and meals by planned menus
4. Ensure proper storage of food and leftovers
5. Assist in scheduled cleaning/sanitation
6. 1-2 of possibly cleaning as well
