We are looking for a dynamic Sales Events & Promotions Manager to lead the execution of trade shows, roadshows, and in-store promotional events. This hands-on role is crucial to driving product visibility and boosting sales by managing event logistics, engaging with customers, and collaborating with internal teams. The ideal candidate is organized, enthusiastic, and thrives in fast-paced, customer-facing environments. This role reports directly to the Senior Vice President of U.S. Sales.

The main responsibilities will include the following tasks:

Event Execution & Customer Engagement

  1. Set up and break down event displays, ensuring a visually appealing and organized presentation.
  2. Lead and motivate the CDS (Club Demonstration Services) team to engage Costco members effectively.
  3. Present and promote featured products (salsa and hummus), offering samples and highlighting key selling points.
  4. Educate customers on flavor profiles, ingredient quality, and health benefits.
  5. Address customer questions and recommend products to encourage purchases.
  6. Ensure a clean, professional, and inviting presence throughout each event.
  7. Comply with Costco’s policies and provide a positive shopping experience.

Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking

  1. Track daily sales and report performance metrics to the management team.
  2. Compile post-event reports summarizing sales data, customer feedback, team performance, and improvement suggestions.

Administrative & Cross-Functional Support

  1. Support the sales team in planning and executing sales activities, trade shows, and promotional campaigns.
  2. Maintain and update CRM databases, sales reports, and forecasts.
  3. Process orders and invoices and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  4. Coordinate with marketing, logistics, and finance teams to align event and sales initiatives.
  5. Prepare sales presentations, proposals, and promotional materials as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

  1. Experience in sales, customer service, or event promotion.
  2. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  5. Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
  6. Physically able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
  7. Willingness to travel and work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts based on event schedules.
