Position Title:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Department Manager - Wine StewardDepartment:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Wine &amp; SpiritsSupervisor:&nbsp;Assistant Branch Manager / Branch ManagerFLSA:&nbsp;Non-exempt (paid by the hour)Position Summary:&nbsp;Manages the Wine &amp; Spirits department in the branch.&nbsp;Responsible for receiving product, ensuring that aisles are stocked, clean and well-merchandised, following compliance policies and providing helpful customer service.Key Tasks:<ol><li data-list="bullet">Follow state laws regarding the wholesale selling of alcohol (Restaurant Depot provides training and sets policies)&nbsp;</li><li data-list="bullet">Ensure the department is ready for business</li><li data-list="bullet" class="ql-indent-1">Keep shelves well-stocked with product</li><li data-list="bullet" class="ql-indent-1">Build and maintain floor displays to highlight items</li><li data-list="bullet" class="ql-indent-1">Ensure accurate price tags are posted for each item</li><li data-list="bullet">Work with other branch personnel to attract new customers to the department</li><li data-list="bullet">Help customers find relevant wine and spirits products to purchase</li><li data-list="bullet">Communicate inventory needs&nbsp;and customer requests to buyer</li></ol>Requirements:<ol><li data-list="bullet">Basic Outlook and Excel skills</li><li data-list="bullet">Strong communication skills, multi-lingual a plus</li><li data-list="bullet">Ability to lift/carry and stock shelves</li></ol>&nbsp;
