Event Coordinator 

Are you ready to create memorable experiences for residents and employees alike? Luthercare is hiring an Event Coordinator to join our Sales, Marketing & Lifestyle Operations Department!  

In this exciting role, you’ll: 

  1. Help teams and resident groups plan events that inspire connection and engagement, such as employee celebrations, fundraising events, open houses, and community outreach initiatives. 
  2. Keep events running smoothly by organizing timelines, working within assigned budgets, and handling logistics like a pro. 
  3. Ensure every event looks as good as it feels, collaborating with the Marketing team to create materials that align with Luthercare’s branding. 
  4. Be the go-to contact for everything event-related, from setup to feedback, making sure every detail is perfect. 

 

We’re currently seeking an Event Coordinator for a Full-Time, exempt-level position, at Luther Acres, the Luthercare community in Lititz, PA. The position requires flexibility, with the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

ABOUT LUTHER ACRES:  

Luther Acres – located in the charming, historic town of Lititz – is a Continuing Care Retirement Community with a long history of providing excellent care and services. It is part of Luthercare, which is a not-for-profit, faith-based, and mission-driven organization that provides a network of services through its continuum of care. Luther Acres is its largest community, with nearly 600 residents living across its independent living cottages and apartments, personal care apartments, and skilled nursing healthcare center. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: 

  1. Proven experience in event planning, hospitality, or related fields (2+ years preferred). 
  2. A High School Diploma or a GED 
  3. Demonstrated ability to work independently and solve complex problems. 
  4. Strong organizational and time management skills. 
  5. Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and meet deadlines. 
  6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  7. Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, and event management tools. 
  9. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed. 

 

PREFERRED JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES: 

  1. Experience in senior living, healthcare or nonprofit organizations. 
  2. Familiarity with sponsorship coordination or basic marketing concepts.
