Staff Development Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Warsaw Health and Rehab – Warsaw, Missouri

In this vital role, you’ll empower our nursing staff with the skills, training, and confidence they need to deliver the highest quality of care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan, develop, and implement ongoing educational programs for nursing and support staff
2. Conduct new employee orientation and onboarding
3. Evaluate staff competencies and coordinate in-service training
4. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility standards
5. Support infection control and quality assurance programs
6. Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff

Qualifications:

1. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri
2. Minimum three (3) years of nursing experience
3. Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing as a Staff Development Nurse is highly preferred
4. Strong organizational and planning skills
5. Ability to coordinate across departments and lead effectively
6. Proficient in reading reports and using data to guide training efforts
