Responsibilities for a Health Information Analyst & Coder with Phoebe Richland:

Responsible for coding a resident’s post-acute care medical diagnoses and / or history of diagnoses using ICD 10 CM, facilitates completion of the MDS by having codes systemization completed prior to the scheduled ARD date to ensure optimal reimbursement for Medicare and Medicaid claims, completes Release of Information requests for various entities.

Requirements for a Health Information Analyst & Coder with Phoebe Richland:

1. The ability to deliver excellent customer service to all residents, families, and coworkers.
2. High School Diploma or equivalent
3. Successful completion of an approved certification course for Medical Coding and/or Health Information Management degree or certification
4. Coding medical diagnoses, using ICD 10-CM in a long-term care or hospital setting.
