Job Summary
The Learning & Development Consultant is responsible for partnering with business leaders and HR to assess needs, develop learning strategies, and implement initiatives that align with organizational goals. You’ll play a key role in fostering a high-performance culture through scalable, inclusive, and forward-thinking development solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Consult with leaders and stakeholders to identify learning needs and skill gaps.
- Design and deliver tailored learning solutions (classroom, virtual, e-Learning and blended.)
- Facilitate workshops, leadership development programs and team-building sessions.
- Develop competency models, career paths and learning road maps.
- Evaluate program effectiveness using metrics, surveys, and analytics to improve impact.
- Support change management and onboarding initiatives across departments.
- Stay current on learning trends, tools and technologies to innovate solutions
- Partner with external vendors and manage L&D budgets as needed.
- Support implementation and optimization of Learning Management Systems (LMS)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent oral, written, and customer service-oriented communication skills.
- Excellent and demonstrated criticalthinking ability.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to respond to and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously under short time frames.
- Customer service-oriented when working with internaland external customers.
- Strong facilitation, coaching and consulting skills.
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, etc.)
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, Psychology or related field.
Experience
- Three (3) to Seven (7) or more years of experience in L&D, talent development or instructional design.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering learning programs for various levels of employees.
- Certification(s) such as CPTM, ATD, SHRM or similar are a plus.
Travel Requirements
- Employee will work remotely from a home-based office. Approximately 25% travel required.

- This role occasionally requires the employee to lift light objects up to 25 pounds.
