Smitty’s is one of Canada’s largest all-day family restaurant chains, operating from coast to coast. Almost all our restaurants are fully licensed, and a majority have separate lounges to accommodate teams, sports fans, and the happy hour crowd.

Our locations are always looking for experienced Lounge Server and talented individuals.

Lounge Server - duties include:

1. Take and serve food & drink orders
2. Greet customers and present menus
3. Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages when necessary
4. Assist with customer needs and preferences and make recommendations
5. Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age
6. Arrange table settings, clean, and perform daily side duties
7. Deliver checks and collect payments - Communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
8. Adhere to all relevant health department rules & regulations and all customer service guidelines

Requirements:

1. Minimum 2 years of lounge serving experience
2. Open availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
3. Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
4. Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean
5. Smart Choice Certificate
6. Must have previous knowledge creating alcoholic beverages
