What You’ll Do:

As an Assistant Manager at Smitty’s, you’ll have a wide variety of responsibilities, each contributing to our continued success:

Employee Relations:

  1. Help build and maintain an exceptional team by recruiting, promoting, hiring, and training top talent.
  2. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide guidance to help staff grow.
  3. Be a mentor and leader, supporting and inspiring your team every day.
  4. Create a workplace culture that’s positive, productive, and fun!

Administrative Duties:

  1. Maintain inventory control to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  2. Keep staff in the loop about promotions and special events.
  3. Supervise payroll and manage labor records to ensure accuracy.
  4. Handle cash management and assist with audits, ensuring all financial processes are smooth and secure.
  5. Oversee the upkeep of the restaurant, from equipment to facilities, ensuring a top-notch environment.

Guest Services:

  1. Consistently ensure our food, service, and facilities meet our high standards.
  2. Foster strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and staff to enhance the overall experience.
  3. Handle guest concerns with grace and professionalism, turning challenges into positive outcomes.
  4. Maintain a clean, inviting space that makes every guest feel welcome.

Business Development:

  1. Set annual goals for your role and work with the team to achieve them.
  2. Stay ahead of trends in hospitality and bring fresh ideas to the table.
  3. Collaborate with the General Manager and Kitchen Manager on marketing and action plans that elevate our brand.
  4. Play a key role in strategic planning to ensure our continued growth and success.
