Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,400.27

Duration: 13 weeks​

Hours Per Week: 36 hours​

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM​

Schedule: Every Other Weekend and Holiday; No Block Scheduling​

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the MedSurg and PCU units, adhering to established protocols and standards
  2. Monitor patient conditions, assess needs, and implement appropriate nursing interventions​
  3. Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans​
  4. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, post-treatment care, and preventive measures​
  5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities and observations​

Qualifications:

  1. Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York​
  2. Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical-Surgical and/or Progressive Care Unit settings
  3. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications​
  4. Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills​
  5. Ability to work every other weekend and holiday as scheduled​
