Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit, closely monitoring and managing patients who require a higher level of care than standard medical-surgical units.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with facility policies and protocols.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, post-treatment care, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Intermediate Care Unit or similar setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
