Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit, closely monitoring and managing patients who require a higher level of care than standard medical-surgical units.​
2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.​
3. Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with facility policies and protocols.​
4. Educate patients and their families on health conditions, post-treatment care, and preventive measures.​
5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.​

Qualifications:

1. Active Registered Nurse license in the state of New York.​
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Intermediate Care Unit or similar setting.​
3. BLS and ACLS certifications required.​
4. Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.​
5. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.​
