Gobble Stop is looking for a friendly, energetic, responsible individual as a full-time manager trainee position at a locally-owned convenience store. Manager trainees will be taught the responsibilities of daily store operations, including:

• Merchandise receiving
• Daily paperwork
• Auditing
• Scheduling
• Training and supervising employees
• Enforcing all safety and security policies
• Vendor management

Other responsibilities include sales and profitability, as well as managing the many aspects of the convenience store:

• Improving store sales and profitability
• Store inventory
• Cash handling
• Store maintenance

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years old
• Must have valid driver’s license
• Must pass background and drug tests
• Must possess basic math and computer skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry boxes and/or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to climb, balance, reach, grab, stoop, crawl, bend, and crouch for extended periods
• Ability to use close, distant, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and visual focus
• Ability to smell and identify odors
• Ability to clearly hear and interpret voice commands and telephone communications

Position includes weekends, holidays, & nights.
